Our inspiring journey
H.E.A.R.T. was born from a deep personal conviction and a discovery. As a resource specialist teacher, I witnessed the daily struggle and discouragement many students faced with reading and math. My own experience with horses and their profound impact on my own personal growth, coupled with the revelation of the Horse Powered Reading program, sparked a vision. I wanted to create an academically rigorous yet nurturing environment where children feel excited to learn and supported. By combining the calming influence of horses with the science of reading, we believe every child can thrive and overcome academic hurdles in Stockton, California.
